Date: Category: Bennie Plant News

The Bennie Group consist of 6 businesses and 4 brands, today we count in Bennie Plant, the new name for our Heavy Plant Hire & maintenance division.

Bennie has a long association with plant dating back to the 1930s. Nearly 100 years on we are pleased to announce the Group’s return to the world of plant hire to support our customers and Group businesses.

This new strategic direction capitalises on a buoyant construction market for an economy recovering from covid and building back better to ensure the UK is a world leader when its comes to infrastructure and construction. Group Managing Director, Matthew Ayres’s strategy is to leverage our Bennie heritage, the businesses expertise and the superb setup we have in our workshop, plant mechanics and of course our existing group plant fleet.

We do so at a time of huge buoyancy in construction and this strategy aligns with our wider Bennie plan to manage our businesses portfolio. It aligns with sister company Bennie Equipment and will see our Plant fleet and holding grow, with over new pieces of kit currently on order and many more in the pipeline.
