Overview

Icon Harlow is a speculative development of two new logistics units based in Harlow, Essex. The site is ideally located within the London-Stansted-Cambridge corridor, making the units highly desirable.

Icon Harlow comprises of two highly specified units of 68,100 sq ft and 96,827 sq ft, and is a joint strategic venture by property developer Stoford Developments and global private investment firm TPG Real Estate.

Readie Construction were appointed to construct the units, each of which will consist of up to 50m yard depths and 15m eaves height and will also have two and three-storey Grade A office accommodation.

Barton were contracted to provide the enabling works for the site over an 8 week period. Contracted works included:

• Topsoil strip of site
• Hard Strip of Type 1 Sub-base & stockpile for re-use
• Cut & Fill including over dig & screen
• Crushing of tarmac stockpile & concrete
